Undertones is a series of six porcelain teacups that explores the concept of colour being relative (i.e it gets influenced by its neighbouring colour). 

 

The red coloured glaze has been placed differently in each cup, affecting the visual colour of the tea. Visually, the same tea is interpreted differently by different people.

 

In the above pictures, all the cups contain green tea, due to the underglaze, the tea looks different.
